The challenge.
Our client had been struggling with a quality problem for years. The problem emerged only at the end of the chain; where and how it arose was not understood. A breakthrough was needed.
Our approach.
The RPI approach: In 8 weeks with a dedicated team analyzing, experimenting, testing, implementing and securing. Just until we got to the root causes and were able to implement the right measures. The key? Getting the right people together in 1 room and getting them to work together based on Six-Sigma tools.
The result
Reduction of the Cost of Poor Quality by 70% (of that problem). Proper controls in process control so that the cause is seen early and can be adjusted.
